Choose the surface your cabinet project needs

Start with appearance and finishing requirements, then check the core, edge treatment and project dimensions.

01

Natural wood: birch or maple

Both options show real wood veneer beneath a factory-applied clear finish. Compare a sample when grain and color need to coordinate with a visible cabinet interior. Cut edges may still need treatment.

02

White, wood-tone or light gray

Choose a melamine-faced panel for the surface appearance you need. Wood-tone melamine gives a decorative wood look; it is not maple or birch veneer. Check edge-banding color before committing to a full project.

Check the construction specification

Nominal 3/4-inch panels are not a universal substitute for one another. Confirm the listed thickness, core, joint fit, supports and intended use. Looking for all-birch-core alternatives? Browse the separate Baltic Birch range.

Questions about 3/4-inch sheets

How much does a 3/4-inch plywood 4×8 sheet cost?

The product cards and table show the current full-sheet price for each selected 3/4-inch variant. Compare the finish and core alongside the price. Eligible volume discounts, delivery and tax are confirmed separately at checkout.

Are all the 3/4-inch sheets shown here factory-finished?

Yes. This selected assortment contains prefinished birch and maple plus white, wood-tone and light gray melamine-faced sheets. The listed options are finished on both sides. Exposed cut edges still need the treatment specified for your project.

Is wood-tone melamine the same as natural wood veneer?

No. Wood-tone melamine is a decorative laminate with a wood-look surface. The birch and maple options use natural wood veneer with a clear finish. Compare samples rather than assuming the surfaces will match.

Can I use these sheets for cabinets and shelving?

These products are marketed for cabinetry and furniture work. Follow your project design for span, support, joinery and fastening. Do not infer an exterior, structural or load-rating certification from the nominal thickness.

Where can I find 1/2-inch and thinner sheets?

Use the Shop by Thickness navigation above to compare half-inch, quarter-inch and 3/16-inch choices. Each collection has its own selected materials; the same finish is not necessarily offered in every thickness.
