Compare the cabinet's purpose, measurements and storage layout before choosing a model.
Base cabinets form the lower cabinet run beneath a countertop. Start with the width you can use, then compare the door, drawer and shelf layout. A narrow single-door unit and a wider double-door unit solve different storage needs.
Compare double-door base cabinets →Wall cabinets add storage above the work area. Width and height are separate measurements: a 30-inch-wide cabinet is not necessarily 30 inches high. Shorter bridge cabinets can help fill planned overhead spaces; appliance clearances still need checking.
Compare wall cabinet sizes →A drawer base provides pull-out storage for items you use often. Check the actual drawer arrangement and usable interior space—not just the outside width. A code such as DB12 identifies the model and width; it does not, by itself, confirm the number of drawers.

Write your cabinet requirements as width × height × depth. A search for a “30-inch cabinet” can describe more than one dimension, so match all three measurements to your layout.
For example, W3036 in this cabinet range identifies a 30-inch-wide, 36-inch-high wall model. It is different from W3030. A B24 reference identifies a 24-inch-wide base model, not a 24-inch-high cabinet.
Measure the opening or planned run, allowing for fillers, end panels and door clearance. For corner units, check the footprint on both walls—not just the front opening.
Check the finished floor, countertop plan and ceiling clearance. For pantries, allow room both for the installed unit and to bring it into position.
Check depth and alignment with adjacent cabinets and appliances. Short bridge and refrigerator cabinets are not necessarily equally deep, even when their other dimensions look similar.
Assembly explained
Pre-assembled cabinets arrive assembled, unlike ready-to-assemble (RTA) cabinets that require assembly after delivery. They still need correct placement, leveling and secure installation at your property.
Plan countertop, sink and appliance work separately. Check each listing for supplied components; a cabinet purchase is not a complete kitchen or installation service.
A consistent cabinet style
Shaker styling uses a simple framed-door appearance that can work across base, wall and tall cabinets. Choose the finish on each product rather than relying only on the collection photograph.
Check the finish and configuration of every unit. Screen settings and room lighting affect color appearance; confirm any exact match to an existing kitchen before ordering.
