A small part. An important fit.

A rear bracket supports the back end of a matching slide where the cabinet layout calls for rear mounting. Confirm the slide profile, bracket connection, and cabinet fixing surface before choosing a replacement.

The 45mm designation identifies the intended drawer-slide width. It does not establish cabinet side clearance, bracket depth, or compatibility with every 45mm slide.

The Berta fit guide

Choose the right rear bracket for your drawer slides.

A drawer-slide rear mounting bracket connects the rear of a matching slide to its cabinet support. The right choice depends on the slide profile and cabinet construction—not just the name “rear bracket.” Use this guide to compare mounting systems and check your parts before ordering.

01 / Understand the mounting system

Where do rear mounting brackets belong?

In a face-frame cabinet, the slide mounting plane can sit away from the cabinet side. A compatible rear support may be part of that installation. Frameless and undermount systems can use different fixing methods. Start with the side-mount versus undermount comparison if you are identifying an existing system.

02 / Confirm the details

What does 45mm mean?

For this product, 45mm—approximately 1.77 inches—is the listed drawer-slide width designation. It is not the slide length, the cabinet-to-drawer side gap, or a published measurement of every part of the bracket. Compare the slide manufacturer’s profile drawing and rear connection before selecting a replacement.

Before you order

  1. Identify the slideRecord its brand or model and whether it mounts beside or beneath the drawer.
  2. Inspect the rear connectionPhotograph the slide end and old bracket. Compare the profile, engagement, and fixing points.
  3. Check the cabinetIdentify the face frame, rear support, available depth, and surface that will hold the fasteners.
  4. Count the partsCheck whether the slide kit already includes brackets, then confirm the replacement quantity needed.

Before installation

Use the instructions for the exact slide system. Confirm bracket engagement, fixing locations, fastener selection, and the suitability of the cabinet support before drilling.

Check that both slides remain aligned and the drawer moves freely after installation. A rear bracket does not change the slide manufacturer’s load rating or clearance requirements.

For an existing drawer, use the replacement drawer-slide measurement checklist to organize the fit details before ordering.

Need dimensions or a model match? Ask Berta to confirm bracket depth, height, fixing-hole spacing, left/right orientation, and screw contents for your installation. No universal screw size or adjustment range is specified here.
03 / Order by the pack

10 pairs per pack. 20 individual brackets.

The quantity selector orders complete packs. Use this chart to translate packs into pairs and individual pieces. It counts brackets only; the number needed for a project depends on the actual mounting arrangement.

Rear mounting bracket Q&A

Check the details that matter before choosing a drawer-slide bracket.

What is included in one pack?

One pack contains 10 pairs, or 20 individual rear mounting brackets. Drawer-slide rails are sold separately. Confirm screw contents with Berta before ordering if your project depends on included fasteners.

Will these fit every 45mm drawer slide?

No universal fit is claimed. The intended slide size is 45mm, but the slide-end profile, connection, and cabinet mounting arrangement must also match. Send your slide model or clear photos to Berta for a fit check.

Is 45mm the clearance beside the drawer?

No. It is the listed slide-width designation for this bracket’s intended application. Use the exact slide’s installation specification for cabinet-to-drawer clearance; do not use 45mm as that allowance.

Can I use these with undermount drawer slides?

Do not assume these side-mount application brackets interchange with undermount components. Berta’s undermount kit comes with its own rear brackets and locking devices. Identify the runner first when replacing an undermount part.

Are screws included, and which size should I use?

The confirmed pack quantity is 20 brackets. Ask Berta to verify screw inclusion and the fixing requirements for your cabinet material and slide system. A single screw size should not be assumed for every installation.

Are the brackets left/right specific?

Confirm orientation for the supplied bracket and matching slide before installation. A pack described as “10 pairs” does not by itself establish whether the pieces are handed or interchangeable.

Do Berta drawer-slide kits already include brackets?

Several do. The soft-close side-mount kit and the 18-inch and 22-inch ball-bearing kits list face-frame brackets and screws. Check the kit contents before adding a separate pack for replacement or spare use.

Are exact bracket dimensions available?

The 45mm designation identifies the intended slide size. For bracket depth, height, hole spacing, or a replacement match, contact Berta with the slide model and photos before ordering. Do not scale measurements from product photography.

What are the material and finish?

The product specification lists cold-rolled steel with a nickel-plated finish. This description applies to the brackets; related slide products may use different finishes.

How do I check delivery or pickup?

Contact Berta for delivery or Pennsauken pickup arrangements for your order. Review the store’s shipping and return policies before purchase, and confirm the bracket fit before installation.

05 / Recommended products to compare

Plan the complete drawer system.

Explore slide kits for a new build or replacement project. These recommendations are product comparisons, not a guarantee that this bracket fits every listed slide. The kits below list their own brackets, so check included parts before adding accessories.

On a small screen, swipe the product cards to compare all four kits.

06 / Plan the drawer around the hardware

Building a drawer box as well?

Choose the construction details first.

Slide fit and drawer-box dimensions work together. Use the drawer-box plywood thickness chart to review sides, bottoms, and slide restrictions before cutting material.

Compare the panel options.

Review Baltic birch plywood for drawer-box projects and prefinished plywood options. Select the actual panel thickness to suit your joinery and the chosen slide specification.

Match the part before you order.
