Measure the usable wall height
Include the planned cabinet position, ceiling or soffit conditions and any trim. Cabinet height alone does not determine whether the layout fits.
The current 30-inch and 36-inch-high single-door ranges share the same listed width choices: 9, 12, 15, 18 and 21 inches. The taller family adds six inches of nominal cabinet height, but that does not by itself establish an extra shelf, a particular storage capacity or the right mounting position. Compare the selected model’s shelf arrangement, the space available above the countertop and how comfortably the contents can be reached. Ceiling height alone is not a complete cabinet-sizing rule.
W1836 identifies the listed 18-inch-wide, 36-inch-high model in this family. This range has a listed 12-inch depth. None of those numbers tells you how far above the floor the cabinet should be mounted. That position depends on the overall design and any applicable appliance instructions. When matching existing upper cabinets, compare their actual installed alignment and finish, then check the wall and fixing method with the installer.
| Choice | Listed dimensions to compare | Planning question |
|---|---|---|
| This single-door range | 9–21″ W × 36″ H × 12″ D | Does the taller cabinet fit the layout and access needs? |
| 30″-high single-door range | The same listed widths; 30″ height | Would a shorter upper cabinet suit the available space? |
| 36″-high double-door range | 24–36″ W × 36″ H × 12″ D | Is a wider two-door unit the better fit? |
A height difference does not confirm extra shelves or a proportional increase in usable capacity. Check the selected model’s interior layout.
Not for this product family. These cabinets are 36 inches high, with listed widths from 9 to 21 inches.
No. The height label alone does not specify the shelf count or spacing. Confirm the interior layout for the exact model.
They can be considered in the same design, but plan their top and bottom alignment, trim and surrounding clearances deliberately. Do not assume the two heights will align automatically.
These are alternative or complementary cabinet choices. Confirm dimensions, finish and installation compatibility for the complete layout.
