Product Description

Berta Store · Individual cabinet units

Upper-corner storage with a diagonal-front layout

Compare the WDC2430 and WDC2436 pre-assembled Shaker diagonal corner wall cabinets. These are upper-corner units, not straight wall cabinets or lower Lazy Susan base cabinets.

Plan around the listed 24-inch allocation along each adjoining wall and compare the nominal 30-inch and 36-inch model heights. Treat that corner allocation as a plan-view measurement—not the width of the diagonal door. Confirm the exact corner drawing before setting the neighboring cabinet positions.

Before you choose your cabinet

CHECK 01

Measure both wall directions

A corner cabinet takes space in two adjoining runs. Do not plan it from one front measurement alone.

CHECK 02

Choose the height deliberately

Compare the intended 30- or 36-inch nominal height with the neighboring wall cabinets and trim.

CHECK 03

Verify the exact geometry

Confirm the diagonal front, usable opening and adjacent door clearances from the selected model’s drawing.

Cabinet buying guide

Diagonal corner wall cabinet dimensions: footprint vs door width

Why a corner needs more than width × height

A straight wall cabinet can often be identified by a width along one run. A corner unit must be considered in plan view because it occupies space along two walls and has a front at an angle. The listed 24-inch per-wall allocation is not a 24-inch door width. It also should not be treated as a complete rectangular cutting size. Use the corner drawing to place adjoining cabinets, measure the diagonal face and confirm how doors open near the corner.

Diagonal wall, blind wall and Lazy Susan base are different choices

A diagonal-front upper cabinet is not the same product as a blind-corner wall cabinet, which has a different access arrangement, or a Lazy Susan base cabinet used in the lower run. The active WDC2430/WDC2436 options belong to the upper diagonal-wall category. A shared reference to “corner cabinet” in a search result does not make those cabinet types interchangeable. Select the correct wall/base function first, then compare its height, footprint and actual opening.

Questions before you order

Are WDC2430 and WDC2436 base cabinets?

No. They are the current diagonal corner wall-cabinet models. For lower corner storage, compare the separate LSB33/LSB36 Lazy Susan base range.

Does “24 inches per wall” mean a 24-inch door?

No. Per-wall allocation describes the corner footprint along the adjoining runs. The diagonal face and clear door opening require the model drawing.

Why should I check the corner drawing before ordering adjacent cabinets?

The corner footprint, diagonal front and door clearances affect where the adjoining units can start. One nominal dimension is not enough to establish that layout.

Optional materials · Separate projects

Custom corner shelves need their own drawing

A separately fabricated corner shelf should be measured and supported as its own project. Do not use a nominal cabinet code as a plywood cutting template.

Panels are sold separately for custom work. They are not pre-cut or factory-matched cabinet replacement parts; confirm thickness, finish, cutting and installation for your project.
