Shorter upper cabinets for the space above

Bridge wall cabinets provide a shorter upper-cabinet option when a full-height wall unit is not the right fit. This pre-assembled Shaker range combines listed widths of 30, 33 and 36 inches with heights of 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24 inches.

These models have a listed 12-inch depth. Choose White or Gray and check the full model number carefully: the short bridge range should not be confused with a deeper refrigerator-cabinet product or an appliance enclosure.

Before you choose your cabinet

CHECK 01

Measure the space in three directions

Width and height identify the short cabinet opening; depth determines how it relates to the cabinets and appliances around it.

CHECK 02

Keep appliance requirements separate

For an above-fridge or cooking-area layout, follow the exact appliance’s clearance and ventilation instructions.

CHECK 03

Confirm reach and opening

Check how the cabinet doors open and how you will reach the contents. Do not assume every bridge width uses the same door configuration.

Cabinet buying guide

What is a bridge cabinet—and which size do you need?

A shorter wall cabinet, not a structural bridge

A bridge cabinet is a shorter upper cabinet used where a full-height wall unit would not fit the design. In this assortment, the listed heights run from 12 to 24 inches, compared with the separate 30-inch and 36-inch-high wall families. The term does not mean the cabinet can span an opening without appropriate support or fixing. Plan the mounting with the installer and choose the height from the actual available space rather than treating “bridge” as a construction rating.

Above-fridge placement does not establish cabinet depth

A cabinet used above a refrigerator can be shallow or have a different configuration depending on the design. The bridge models on this page are listed at 12 inches deep. A deeper refrigerator cabinet is a separate specification, not something established by the word “bridge.” Check the refrigerator’s ventilation and door-opening requirements, the cabinet depth and the mounting plan together. The cabinet model alone does not establish safe clearances around any appliance.

Questions before you order

What does W3012 mean here?

W3012 is the bridge model listed at 30 inches wide, 12 inches high and 12 inches deep. It is not the 30-inch-high W3030 wall cabinet.

Are these the 27-inch-deep refrigerator cabinets?

No. The bridge models in the current table are listed at 12 inches deep. A deeper refrigerator-cabinet specification must be verified separately.

Can any bridge cabinet go above a cooktop?

Do not assume that. The appliance instructions, required clearances, cabinet suitability and installation arrangement must be checked for the exact cooking appliance.

Optional materials · Separate projects

Building independent overhead storage?

Sheet materials support a separate fabrication decision. They do not establish a cabinet’s structural span, mounting capacity or appliance clearances.

Panels are sold separately for custom work. They are not pre-cut or factory-matched cabinet replacement parts; confirm thickness, finish, cutting and installation for your project.
