This listing is for a small maple plywood sample, approximately 8.5″–10″, with the current sample described as nominal 3/4″ thick. It is not a full 4×8 panel or a two-thickness sample kit.

Is this unfinished maple for staining or painting?

No. This sample represents maple plywood with a factory-applied clear UV-cured finish on both faces. It is intended for evaluating that finished surface, rather than an unfinished panel for a custom stain or paint system.

Will the full sheets have exactly the same grain?

No. Maple is a natural veneer, so grain and tone can vary. Review the sample as a finish reference and plan how visible panels will be selected and arranged.

Can this sample confirm the strength of a finished shelf?

No. A small finish sample does not establish a full panel's load capacity. Choose the full-sheet thickness, shelf span, supports and hardware for your specific design.
